Letarte Nantucket Store Opens for Memorial Day
Nantucket, MA, May 28, 2010 – It's going to be a memorable weekend for Letarte, Maui-based swim and cover-up label. The 10-year old brand opens its premiere Nantucket boutique today in time for Memorial Day.
Co-founders and sisters, Lisa Letarte Cabrinha and Michele Letarte Ross, kept the authentic Hawaiian vibe in the South Water Street store with dark wood floors, white washed walls and an iconic zebra print rug.
"We're overjoyed to bring our signature prints, like this year's coral starfish pattern, to the island," explains Ross. "There's nothing like putting on a new swimsuit and caftan to kick off the summer season."
The Letarte boutique, located at 5 South Water Street, is open daily from 10am to 8pm during peak season and will feature the entire 2010 collection of swimwear, tunics and cover-ups along with Maui-designer jewelry and the debut of the label's towels and signature lotion and oil.
Lisa Letarte Cabrinha and Michele Letarte Ross are the sisters behind the Letarte label and lead the company from opposite coasts. Celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year, the company started off in a handful of select resorts and high-end boutiques. Now it is a multi-million dollar brand sold in 400+ retail outlets worldwide.
